The nature we live in is the most imaginative gift we could receive from those who gave us life. The certainty of the fortune we have had in being born here accompanies us at all times of our lives and reminds us that there is a reality that goes beyond our fears and our limits. The inspiration for these places has always been with us and what we are trying to do is to take it and turn it into a language, the music.
The smokying mountain looks at us from the height of its majesty. We can go up and try to see what she sees, but we can never be her. She saw the sea, saw the time, saw the stars, she was the stars. Like us.
Sound fills every moment of our lives, sound is movement, sound is vibration. Everything breaths a sound. A sound can destroy the cement with its patient power.
“If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer; but if he spends his whole day as a spectulator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time, he is esteemed an industrious and enterprising citizen. To be poor and be without trees, is to be the most starved human being in the world. To be poor and have trees, is to be completely rich in ways that money can never buy.”
